Get Involved

Clearmont Fire District is a volunteer department — we’re always looking for community members willing to serve.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteer firefighters are the backbone of rural fire protection. By joining the Clearmont Fire District, you’ll gain valuable skills, serve your neighbors, and become part of a tight-knit team dedicated to protecting our community.

Support the District

Not able to volunteer? You can still support the Clearmont Fire District with a donation. Contributions help fund equipment, training, and community safety programs.

Make checks payable to Clearmont Fire District and mail to:
PO Box 126, Clearmont, WY 82835-0126

How to Apply

Interested in joining? Fill out the form below and a member of our team will be in touch. You can also attend any board meeting (second Tuesday of each month) to learn more.

Tax Withholding Form (W-4)

If you’re joining as a volunteer, you’ll also need to complete a federal W-4. The district requests this for tax withholding and Wyoming Workers’ Compensation coverage, and it may also apply to per-call/stipend pay or length-of-service award program (LOSAP) benefits some volunteer members receive. This links directly to the IRS’s official, always-current version of the form.

Once completed, email it to Fire Chief Josh McKinley at FireChiefCFD01@gmail.com.
